Martin Wiedmer is an architect (Dipl. Architekt HTL). Since 2012 he has been Vice Dean at the Lucerne School of Art and Design. He is in charge of four research groups, the Bachelor’s specializations in Object, Textile and Jewelry Design, Design Management, International and the Master’s programmes in Design and Film. From 2001, he built up the research department of the Academy of Art and Design at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland, where he also headed the Institute of Art and Design Research from 2005 and 2012. There, he carried out research and service projects mainly in the fields of Interaction Design and Design Thinking. He is active in various research commissions, juries and committees.

Claudia Ramseier holds a Master’s degree in Social Anthropology, Communication and Media Studies and Science of Religion. Since 2014, she has worked at Lucerne School of Art and Design (HSLU), first for the Bachelor’s degree programme Design Management, where she contributed to the curriculum development, and taught academic writing and research fundamentals for design managers. She has further been involved in several higher education development projects. Today she works in the Research Department as Co-Project Manager for the PhD Programme Eco-Social Innovation by Design and as Head of International Relations. From 2005, she worked in teaching in the Film Department of the Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK), served as Marketing & Communications Manager for the Fribourg International Film Festival (FIFF), for cineworx filmproduktion and in the International Relations Department of the University of Bern.
